Sunstargirl tagged me. I guess that means I'm It!Six weird things about me, eh? Let’s see…
1. Sometimes I secretly like working retail. It’s kind of fun and I feel sort of accomplished when I handle a high-maintenance customer with grace, efficiency and tact – especially when I can tell it’s made their day a little better.
2. I love my classes, seriously, all of them – but I’ll still skip given half a chance. Even while I know it will result in my failing.
3. I wouldn’t mind if I turned out just like my mother. Which is only weird if you haven’t met her. In keeping with the family oddities: I live with my grown younger brother by choice and enjoy it.
4. Tomatoes are the only fruit I really like. I’ll eat others, but not if I can avoid it.
5. When I was a little kid I wasn’t afraid of monsters in the closet or wolves under the bead, but aliens outside my window. I would draw the curtains and close the shades before the sun set so I wouldn’t risk seeing eyes looking in after dark. If I forgot or time got away from me, I would stand next to the window while covering the glass and look away (at the floor, the wall, whatever) the entire time. What can I say? I was a child of the eighties.
6. I read things like encyclopedias, comics, collections of folk and fairy tales, collections of myths and parables from religions extant (the Bible) and otherwise (the Iliad, Enuma Elish, the Hymn to Aten), and my text books for fun.
I know this isn’t really how the game is played, but everyone I would have tagged either doesn’t update or has already been tagged. At least I tried!
